I strongly advise anyone seeking quality jewellery and excellent customer service to look elsewhere. Kalyan jewellers falls significantly short in this regard and I hope my review serves as a warning to potential customers. I went for exchange of my diamond pendant and first they have showed zero interest in my need and later after my conversation with them they agree to take it and surprisingly it was a pendant I purchased long back from Kalyan jewellers Dubai and they want to send it for quality check as they don’t trust their own quality of diamonds.After the ,purchase check out process was dreadful. The salesman played a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy.

The sales representatives, particularly the male employees, showed no interest in selling the goods. They had no patience and were in a hurry, acting as though we should finish the task as soon as possible even though there were hardly any clients. If you want to grow your company, it's time for all of the sales employees to receive some fundamental customer service training.

Disappointing Experience with Kannur Kalyan Jewellers
I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience with Kannur Kalyan Jewellers. I recently purchased an 18k diamond stud from their showroom last October for Rs. 14,000. However, I noticed last week that the color of the stud had changed from yellow to black or something similar. I contacted their customer care and raised my concern, which led me to the Kannur Kalyan showroom.
Upon explaining the issue to one of the executives, their response was rather unsatisfactory. They simply asked me to visit the showroom so that they could polish the stud and return it to me. This raised questions for me as to why the color had changed in the first place, considering it was made of gold. They attributed it to some material contact, but I have other 18k and 22k ornaments from various jewelers, and this issue has never occurred before.
Moreover, I also had another issue with a bracelet I purchased from the same jeweler. I was attracted by their scheme of Rs. 5,000 monthly installments and decided to close the scheme and make the purchase. However, after the purchase, I realized that the making charge for the item was exorbitantly high.
When I visited the showroom to address these problems, the sales executive named Anoop exhibited a disrespectful and argumentative attitude. His insulting remarks left me greatly disappointed. I expressed my desire to return the stud and receive a refund, but I soon realized that it would result in a substantial loss for me. They give only half rate of purchase. It’s about 7,000 rupees only.They offered to polish the product instead, which I reluctantly agreed to.
Additionally, when I mentioned the issue with the bracelet, they initially refused to take it back since I had cut it for length adjustment at the time of purchase. After a lengthy discussion, they eventually agreed to return the bracelet and purchase a low making charge item, but blaming me for not checking the making charge before hand.
The behavior and language used by the sales staff, particularly “ANOOP”, were completely unacceptable. The way they argued and treated us with disrespect left a bitter taste in my mouth. I made the decision never to visit this showroom again. Furthermore, I discovered that Kannur Kalyan Jewellers have significantly higher making charges compared to other jewelers in the area.
I am deeply disappointed in myself for falling for their scheme and not thoroughly checking the details before making the purchase. However, the way the staff handled the situation and their poor customer service is inexcusable. The collection at the showroom was also underwhelming.
In light of my continuous bitter experiences, I strongly advise against visiting Kannur Kalyan Jewellers and purchasing anything from them. Their high making charges, coupled with disrespectful customer service, have left me with a negative impression. I will not be recommending Kannur Kalyan Jewellers to my family or relatives. This review is solely based on my personal experiences.

I had the worst experience with the Kalyan Jewellers Kannur. My jewellery was given to them for repair they claimed it would be delivered in 15 days but they never let me know when they were finished. And one day I got a call from them but couldn't make it at the time. When I called them back they said the item was not ready and told me that they will call back when it was ready. I contacted three times by that point and still received the same response after 3 weeks. When I contacted them the third time, they took my concern seriously, thoroughly investigated, and discovered that it had been there for 12 days. When I went to pick up my jewellery, they made no attempt to apologise for their error instead, they accused me of missing the call the first time. Given that this is an after service and that I am a young woman who went alone to pick up the jewellery, I felt as though they treated me extremely carelessly. I will never ever suggest Kalyan Jewellers or purchase anything from them again.
